There have been some changes at the Tonquani Lodge as well as the Tonquani Spa.  Houtkapperspoort and Jan Maart are out and its not easy establishing who is in or what is or what is not happening.

In fact it gets a little irritating when enquires are simply referred to lawyers whose company I try to avoid whenever possible.

I believe that massage and taking care of your body and skin is a necessity, not a luxury. We are becoming more aware of how stress and free radicals effects our bodies and skins.

My aim is to give you the best swedish massage, with essential oils, to relax and counteract stress. I also have a far infra red suana that increases the detox process before a massage.

I do an excellent Guinot Facial with a galvanic current and oxygen that targets all skin conditions. The Guinot lifting treatment specifically treats ageing skin. I also do a chemical peel that exfoliates and regenerates your skin.

The other beauty treatments that Ioffer are manicures, pedicures, waxing and tinting.

I also have an exeptional personal trainer and sports massage therapist working with me, Mario Sciocatti.

There is a mass of evidence that supports the concept, that we create the reality we live in by the way we think and by the words we utter. “Think and Grow Rich” or “give a dog a bad name” as classic examples. What is exciting about this concept is the fact that we, the residents of Knysna, can create the future we desire by thinking and speaking positively about the town and its future.

And to the doom prophets muttering something about reality, the world recession, and the kind of grass I’m smoking, or a reference to typical new age BS that can’t possibly change the obvious realities and outcomes. You are wrong.

When you focus on the negatives your whole being goes into back up. You go into survival mode, become defensive, and you allow your fear to rule your thinking and the actions that stem from that thinking. When you are enthusiastic and excited about any matter, you think and behave in a positive manner and the outcome is influenced by your thoughts and words.

What is even more exciting is the concept of synergy, when the result is greater than the sum of the individual parts. Again there are thousands of classic examples of the application of this principle. In a modern context, the way in which people unite to promote or support a given ideology or belief, and the changes that results from the united belief and support, the new dispensation in SA since 1994 as a pertinent example.

Electricity, Microsoft, Cell phones, the Internet, are the result of thoughts and words. Ideas / thoughts, that were discussed, spoken about, expressed in words, supported by positive actions, and enthusiastically pursued until they became the realities of our modern society.

I invite you to think positively about the present and the future. Find the good stuff that we can use as building blocks. Accept the inspiration you receive about a brighter, better, future, and share those thoughts by speaking positively to others. Then watch the positive energy multiply as other like minded people ad their inspiration and actions to yours.

I get lost when faced with all the different types of massage services on offer. I understand what is mean’t by a Thai Massage.
